[Spoiler] ‘Running Man’ goes for the dramatic with Lee Yeon Hee and Go Ara

Lights, camera, action: the latest episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘ turned itself into a drama set, shooting a three-part Korean drama loaded with reversals, bloodline feuds, and more with guests Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee.

Although the drama began happily enough – with the cast and guests divided into couples and seeking to win the approval of their father, the CEO of a major corporation – it eventually came to light that two within their midst were, in fact, blood relatives!

With victory, and the company’s inheritance, coming to the one who solved the mystery of the family heritage, the crew hustled to find the clues relating to the bloodline and piece together the truth behind the siblings.

The final victor was the female sibling, Lee Yeon Hee, who had ripped off the name tag of her own brother, Yoo Jae Suk, earlier in the race – giving this drama a decidedly tragic element, as well.

Park Myung Soo hasn't learned anything from Yoo Jae Suk?

Fans would probably consider 'nation's MC' Yoo Jae Suk the best teacher to learn how to hone variety skills from, but Park Myung Soo thinks otherwise.

On the latest broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3', the topic of group study came up and Park Myung Soo shared, "Yoo Jae Suk has been teaching all of us. We have been learning from him for seven years, and we still have not improved. He gets angry sometimes these days."

Yoo Jae Suk wittily replied, "I learn from Park Myung Soo too. I learned how to get angry from Park Myung Soo," making everyone laugh.

Who would you want to learn variety skills from? Who would be a good teacher?

'Nation's MC' Yoo Jae Suk used to work at a pub?

Comedian Kim Tae Kyun shared a special connection he has with 'nation's MC' Yoo Jae Suk.

The 'Culttwo Show' radio DJ appeared on the March 7th broadcast of KBS2's 'Happy Together 3', where he discussed the ups and downs of his life. He mentioned that while he was a student, he took on a number of different part-time jobs.

What caught the attention of the studio and viewers was when Kim Tae Kyun shared, "Before I debuted as a comedian, I worked at a pub in front of my school. I also hired Yoo Jae Suk to work there. [This was] after he debuted, but before he got famous," surprising the other guests. Yoo Jae Suk shared that he was accepted as a comedian, but he had no jobs lined up.

Could you imagine Yoo Jae Suk working in a pub?

Kum Eung Soo reveals Yoo Jae Suk was shocked by 'Come to Play ...

Actor and former 'Come to Play' cast member Kim Eung Soo revealed that even the 'nation's MC' suffered from his moments of melancholy, detailing the last few days of the ill-fated MBC talk program.

As a part of the show's 'True Man Show' segment, the actor was part of a cast that included not only Yoo Jae Suk, but Jay Park, Kim Won Hee, Eun Ji Won, and Kwon Oh Joong. "When we filmed the final episode, we didn't know it would be the final episode," he recalled sadly.

"I was participating in a play in Japan then," he said. "I briefly went back to Korea to film, but that was the last time. The broadcast was getting more interesting, so it was even more baffling when it was canceled."

The actor hadn't received a call from the producers, he said. "I was confused that I found out about the cancellation through the Internet."

Although the producers apologized later, the shock wouldn't dissipate easily. "It defies common sense," Kim Eung Soo said. "Not for us, but more so for the viewers. It's been receiving love for eight years. How angry were the viewers when they turned on the TV and 'Come to Play' wasn't there anymore? Programs can be canceled and replaced, but this is close to violence. If a program that I loved for eight years was replaced, I would've been very angry."

Kim Eung Soo also mentioned that he holds no grudges against the producers. "What crime have they committed?" he said, directing his anger towards the higher-ups. "A group with that kind of thinking is dangerous."

"We held a party later," he continued. "The producer, Shin Jung Soo, said everything was his fault, from the poor ratings to the eventual cancellation, but it wasn't because of him."

"Yoo Jae Suk was very shocked as well," he said. "He was also very sorry towards me. Since the 'True Man Show' was a response to the falling ratings, we believed that we needed to wait and watch for one year at least. At the very beginning, we needed time to create a concept. We were beginning to see a path forward and had confidence."

"He has a very well-anchored frame of mind," he said. "It was thanks to him that 'Come to Play' became so fun. The program had been a part of MBC for eight years. That's not the way you're supposed to treat that kind of program."

Yoo Jae Suk is satisfied with his current roster of programs?

With the recent ending of one of his longest-running programs, MBC's 'Come to Play', one would think that the 'nation's MC' would have a hankering for a new program to host. However, according to his acquaintances, Yoo Jae Suk has no plans to host another program in the near future, they said.

His current schedule has him filming 'Running Man' on Mondays and Tuesdays, 'Infinity Challenge' on Thursdays, and 'Happy Together' on Saturdays. Since there is a day of rest between each filming, he is able to spend more time with his friends and family and remain better focused on his work, striking the perfect balance for the hardworking MC. Although proposals are streaming in from programs that hope to gain the 'nation's MC', he has been reportedly turning them down.

However, that doesn't mean he won't ever try his hands at a new show. He didn't rule out a possibility of returning to four weekly programs if an especially promising proposal or suggestion is made.

With delay comes anticipation, so all eyes are on the beloved MC to see if he'll be able to work his magic on whatever show he may take up next.

Yoo Jae Suk and Noh Hong Chul didn't want to feature in Psy's ...

Comedians Yoo Jae Suk and Noh Hong Chul spoke up about their initial reactions to featuring in the music video for Psy's "Gangnam Style".

In the latest episode of 'Infinity Challenge', the duo traveled to New York to perform with Psy for 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2013′ celebration at Times Square.

As Yoo Jae Suk watched the excited Noh Hong Chul dress up for the performance with his original music video garb, he let the viewers in on a secret concerning his enthusiasm for "Gangnam Style".

"This is all in the past, but when he first showed up on set, he said he didn't want to shoot for the music video. It was done against his will," he framed.

Noh Hong Chul didn't take this sitting down, however. "Didn't you say 'me too' at that time, as well?" he questioned, confirming that they were less than excited to shoot the video – at the time.

With the amount of popularity the video has netted them thus far, hopefully they've changed their views by now!

Re-enacting their famous personas from Psy's smash hit "Gangnam Style", entertainers Yoo Jae Suk and Noh Hong Chul joined Psy on stage for his performance on 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' in Times Square to welcome the new year with style.

The performance also appeared to be a part of an upcoming broadcast of 'Infinity Challenge', as the show's main producer, Kim Tae Ho, appeared to be in attendance for the evening. "Wow!" he tweeted. "New York is mudo-style!" ['Infinity Challenge' is often shortened to simply 'mudo' in Korea.]

MC Hammer made an appearance towards the end and everyone also wished Psy a happy birthday.

LADIES' CODE: We aren't a young girl group - Yahoo! Philippines News

Global Code Ashley who possesses wisdom, Beauty Code Kwon RiSe who has an innocent and pretty appearance, Adorable Code EunB who is a source of energy, Punky Code Sojung who has her own unique personality, and Maknae Code Zuny who is into the latest fashion trends.

All 5 girls who have their own personalities and charms make up the latest rookie girl group LADIES’ CODE who made their debut recently. After introducing themselves individually with a reserved tone, they were asked if they were satisfied with their respective tagged Codes. RiSe said, “I am quite satisfied with my Code. But because my Code sounds really cool when you say it, I feel really pressured to live up to it as I have to do things that fits my Code in front of the public.”

Ashley is a girl who is fluent in 4 languages namely Korean, English, Spanish, and Japanese, and therefore lives up to her Global Code tag. With RiSe who is of Japanese-Korean descent, the group has two members who are fluent in Japanese. So if LADIES’ CODE have plans to enter the Japanese market in future, they have a slight advantage in the language department over other girl groups.

Ashley: We already know that the company have plans for us to enter the Japanese market, so the other 3 members are learning Japanese in their free time. I also realized that there are Japanese fans who have come to see us in Korea. Occasionally, we also get fan letters from Italy, France, and other countries. So to me, music is really something that is without borders.

The LADIES’ CODE members remarked that if they weren’t singers, some would probably be working in the corporate world, or attending school in America, or maybe even getting married. They admitted that they are curious about everything that has happened after their debut, and for a group who only just made their debut, their popularity levels are actually pretty high.

Among the members, there are some who have already tasted life under the spotlight. RiSe gained prominence through MBC TV talent show ‘Birth of a Great Star’, while Sojung was a finalist and finished in the top 8 of Mnet talent show ‘The Voice of Korea’. So in a way, they already have some recognition prior to debut, and to them, there are both pros and cons to it.

Ashley: The pro is that we get a lot of attention because we are already known by viewers, so they accept us more readily compared to others.

RiSe: But the con is that because they already know us beforehand, they expect to see us improve from the last time that they had seen us. They have seen us perform on talent shows in the past, so we have to have the thought of wanting to go one step better in our future performances. So in a way, it places a burden on us.

Because of Sojung’s cable talent show background, LADIES’ CODE was unable to stand on the stage of MBC TV ‘Show! Music Core’ in the first week of their debut. The reason was that there were many singers lining up to perform on a terrestrial television music show, but MBC TV had the inclination to push singers from cable channels to the back of the queue. So this served as a sharp contrast to the thought that had developed earlier regarding the fact that they would be on the show naturally because of RiSe’s ‘Birth of a Great Star’ background.

Sojung: From what the members derived, you can see what the shortcomings of our group are. At the beginning, we were worried about our music show performances. Everyone was waiting and waiting for news and then we finally got confirmation that we were on it. Everyone treated us well when we were there, so we are very grateful.

The members admitted that because all of them grew up in different areas like America, Japan, and Gangwon Province in South Korea, they were very awkward around each other when they first met. They were all figuring each other out at the beginning, before finally deriving the fact that they all have a strong desire for eating.

Ashley: In the earlier stages, we were figuring each other out like how is she like, and etc. Sojung looked really cold in the beginning, but after talking to her, I realized that she is a very friendly person, so the both of us got close to each other very quickly.

RiSe: Especially in front of food, we can all unite together. When we are dieting, we would reward ourselves when we achieved our targets, and it felt like we were able to bond as one.

The mood took a sharp downturn as the member lamented with a heavy sigh, “We saw comments that said that they were disappointed that there wasn’t a member who was under 20. Although we are a girl group, but we aren’t young.” Although the average ages of the LADIES’ CODE members are 21.8, they remarked that they like mature men and said in unison, “Compared to looking young, we would prefer a more mature look.”

Ashley: If I have to pick someone to marry, I hope that it would be someone like Yoo Jae Suk who is humorous, focused at his work, easy-going, and a nice person generally.

RiSe: If I have to pick someone among the ‘Infinity Challenge’ members, I would choose Jung Jun Ha. I feel that there wouldn’t be any burden if I was with him, and he would only love me. The notion of liking just one person is very important to me.

Sojung: I like a man who can hold me in an embrace and is bigger than me. A man who can eat meat with me in the morning and afternoon would be even better, like actor Ha Jung Woo.

Everyone has their own ideal type inside their hearts, but it remains as just that. For the members of LADIES’ CODE at the moment, it is like a present or something for the future, as relationships for them are still too early.

Ashley: I am not really interested in dating now, and I don’t have the inkling for it too. As I am just realizing my dreams now, my group is of number one importance to me.

Sojung: I am focusing all my energies on the group now, so I don’t have time to think of other things. I want to work hard so that my parents can have an early retirement.

As they talked about their debut, the members expressed that it was just luck. And they conveyed the thought that they will have to work really hard to become a girl group that stands at the centre of the Korean Wave around the world.

RiSe: K-POP is becoming a trend lately, and we hope to become a group that can also promote overseas.

Sojung: I feel that LADIES’ CODE is on a lucky path. This is because everything that I do now, are the ones that I had hoped for, so I feel very blessed. I hope to continue along this path in future, and still sing with my sisters when we are throwing a birthday bash as we turn 70 years old. I also have dreams of holding a dinner show like Patti Kim.

EunB: Our promotions for now is to tell everyone about the existence of LADIES’ CODE. Our biggest ambition is to become the best girl group that the public will continually and want to see. We want to see comments like, “When are LADIES’ CODE promoting again?” and hope to see everyone anticipate to want to see us again.

In order to achieve its comedic purposes its 6 hosts and staff continuously proclaim, the elements of this show are the 3-Ds, Dirty, Dangerous, and Difficult.

[Spoiler] Um Ji Won targets Yoo Jae Suk's masculinity on 'Running ...

The actress Um Ji Won tried to get out of a tight spot on the latest episode of 'Running Man' by threatening to target Yoo Jae Suk's, er, masculinity.

The final race involved a mission to secure as many chairs as possible. Since there were less chairs than the total number of cast members, fights inevitably broke out over which player would be able to take the chair for himself or herself.

During a particularly intense battle that unfolded between Um Ji Won, Yoo Jae Suk, and others, the actress shed her usual sweet personality by threatening, "I'll kick you in the central area! My foot is pointing directly there. I'll just kick it."

Despite this half-joking, half-realistic threat, the eventual winner of this coveted chair was Song Ji Hyo.

MC Hammer made an appearance towards the end and everyone also wished Psy a happy birthday.

Nam diễn viên Cha In Pyo xung phong nhập ngũ

Kang Ho Dong in talks to host a new program on SBS - allkpop (blog)

Although his comeback hasn't lived quite up to expectations in viewer ratings, Kang Ho Dong will be hoping to change that by joining the other slot of SBS's 'Good Sunday' segment, which already includes the show 'Running Man' headed by his rival, Yoo Jae Suk.

SM C&C revealed, "Kang Ho Dong has decided to feature in a new program. The name of the show and the format have not been decided upon as of yet. We are currently reviewing the specific details."

Fans who have been flooding the internet with their requests for Kang Ho Dong's return to '1N2D' may get a part of their wish fulfilled as the show rumored to be like '1N2D'. Kang Ho Dong will also be teaming up with 'Family Outing' PD Jang Hyuk Jae for the upcoming variety show, leaving fans waiting in excitement.

Once confirmed, Kang Ho Dong's new variety show will premiere following 'K-Pop Star 2'. Once that happens, fans will get the best of both worlds as families can catch both of the 'nation's MCs' Kang Ho Dong and Yoo Jae Suk every Sunday on SBS!

YOO JAE SUK IS SATISFIED WITH HIS CURRENT SCHEDULE

Yoo Jae Suk

With the recent ending of one of his longest-running programs, MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, one would think that the ‘nation’s MC’ would have a hankering for a new program to host. However, according to his acquaintances, Yoo Jae Suk has no plans to host another program in the near future, they said.

His current schedule has him filming ‘Running Man‘ on Mondays and Tuesdays, ‘Infinity Challenge‘ on Thursdays, and ‘Happy Together‘ on Saturdays. Since there is a day of rest between each filming, he is able to spend more time with his friends and family and remain better focused on his work, striking the perfect balance for the hardworking MC. Although proposals are streaming in from programs that hope to gain the ‘nation’s MC’, he has been reportedly turning them down.

However, that doesn’t mean he won’t ever try his hands at a new show. He didn’t rule out a possibility of returning to four weekly programs if an especially promising proposal or suggestion is made.

With delay comes anticipation, so all eyes are on the beloved MC to see if he’ll be able to work his magic on whatever show he may take up next.

Yoo Jae-suk (Hangul: 유재석; or spelled Yu Jae-suk; born on August 14, 1972), is a South Korean comedian and television comedy show host. Nicknamed the "MC of the nation" (국민 MC), a vote by South Korean "netizens" proclaimed him the most popular Korean comedian for five consecutive years beginning (2004-2008). He has hosted several variety television shows in South Korea, including the hugely popular program Infinite Challenge. Nicknamed "The Grasshopper", due to early appearances dressed as a grasshopper, he is now known for his quick wit and appeal across a wide range of demographics. He has established himself as one of Korea's top comedians and TV personalities.

Ia pun tak segan-segan mempermalukan Asia Prince Lee Kwang Soo.

Selama percakapan, Lee Kwang Soo mengatakan, “Ketika membicarakan Jackie Chan, aku selalu memikirkan gerakan populernya, Drunken Martial Art Technique.”
